What is Crypto Currency?

Cryptocurrency is a kind of digital money that is fully decentralized and was designed to be used over the internet only. 

The first ever cryptocurrency that was launched in the year 2008 is called Bitcoin, which is the largest and most well-known cryptocurrency so far!  As bitcoin and other cryptos like Ethereum have grown like crazy in the last few years which is becoming the digital money option for governments as well.

The technology behind the cryptocurrencies is ever-evolving and some of the most well-known cryptos are Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS, Zcash, and so on. There are many which are based on the bitcoin technology and some of them are built on different technologies too, which makes them apart from the conventional cryptos!  

Cryptocurrencies are middleman free and not managed or issued by any government authority, they are managed by open-source software and peer to peer network of systems.
